The hair I have chosen is quite simplistic. I have picked straight hair as I need my actor to not look outgoing. When watching different pop videos there was a range of hairstyles. From wacky to ordinary everyday hair. As my music video is school based I have chosen a plain hairstyle as this is what the majority of people do.
Makeup
In quite a lot of schools make up is not permitted. Therefore my makeup look will also be in a way effortless and simple. My eye look will be constructed of just neutral colours and mascara. I will make sure the star of the music videos waterline liner will be smudged a bit to create emphasis on how sad she is. The smudged look will be messy and undemanding. Eyebrows will be filled in naturally, following the eyebrow shape. The base of the makeup is going to have a small amount of contour to define the face. This will give the actor a strong structure to prove her strength. In the pop song music videos I have watched most of their makeup is similar to the image I have inserted below, However there is the odd few which have outgoing makeup like bright blue eyeshadow and intense contour, this is not what I am going for. Having less makeup will fit in with the structure of the song too.
