Different style of music videos

Performance
- When video mainly consists of artists performing in the video

- No narrative or any other scenes

- Allows the target audience to engage with the video

- To make it interesting to watch costume and lighting is used to display the performance in a creative way

Narrative
- Follows a storyline

- 2 types: Narrative Linear (1) & Fragmented Linear (2)
(1) Starts a storyline at the beginning, goes on through the middle, and ends at the start; It plays a story from the start to the end.
(2) Fragmented Linear does not do this.

Mixture
- A combination of performance and narrative

- Can be made more interesting and enjoyable to watch

Cameo
- A band or artist features in the narrative but does not perform
