I then began to ask my focus group questions about my song. I asked which part of the song they enjoyed most and their main response consisted of the chorus. This becuase they stated that it was meaningful and catchy.

Focus Group
My focus group consisted of 3 girls aged 17, 18 and 20. I showed them two music videos in the pop genre, Diamonds by Rihanna and Chandelier by Sia. They enjoyed the different colour complexions in Diamonds and the unusual dancing in Chandelier. They did not like the same location and costume in Chandelier as they thought a difference was needed to make it more interesting. 2 out of 3 of my focus group preferred Diamonds as they believe it was much more entertaining than Chandelier due to the various colour contrasts.
